Since ascending the throne in 2001, His Royal Highness King Temple Macdonald Jamala II (JP) has stood as the revered custodian of the Odual Kingdom’s heritage, values, and unity. As the 19th Oola Ebhugh Odual, he continues a long lineage of traditional rulers who have safeguarded the culture and prosperity of the Odual people.

A respected member of the Rivers State Traditional Rulers Council, King Jamala II is celebrated for his wisdom, diplomacy, and steadfast dedication to the socio-economic advancement of his kingdom. His reign has been marked by a deep commitment to preserving Odual’s rich cultural traditions while embracing development initiatives that improve the lives of his subjects.
